Hippo finds her way

Group Making:

  1. Make three groups and let two groups work with the Material Kit.
  2. Set the timer to 15 minutes.

Introduction:

  1. ❤️ (sitsho ngesiXhosa) In our story, hippo goes to different animals
  2. Show handout.
  3. ❤️ (isiXhosa) Oh wow, what a chaos! Can you help hippo find her friends?
  4. Let children follow the first line with their fingers. 
  5. Discuss where the path leads to.
  6. When children found the right way let them sit on a table.

Following Lines:

  1.  Let children follow the lines with their fingers again.
  2. When they found the way, let them take a colored pencil. They have to follow the lines with the pencil.
  3. Let them follow the way with the same color 3-4 times.
  4. Continue with another line and another color.
