Group Making

  1. Split the class in 3 groups. Two groups work with the material kit and one group works with you.

Weight

  1. ❤️ (say in Swahili) show different objects: a rock, a feather, a small toy, a big book. 
  2. ❤️ (Swahili) Look!
  3. ❤️ This rock is heavy. (Lift it and show effort)
  4. 🌐 (say in English) This rock is heavy.
  5. ❤️ This feather is light. (Lift it easily) 
  6. 🌐 (English) This feather is light. (Lift it easily) 
  7. 🌐 Heavy – light. Let’s say it together! 
  8. 🌐 Heavy! Light! 
  9. Children speak along.
  10. lay different objects into the circle. 
  11. ❤️ Guess, what is the heaviest object?
  12. Let children find out.
  13. ❤️ What is the lightest object?
  14. Let children name it.
  15. Bring the objects in the right order, from heavy to light together.
